GOS Intro

The future needs for mobile users are not fully realized. Consumers through out the world are purchasing more than one million mobile phones daily. It is becoming a trend to store data on the internet like Gmail, PhotoBucket, and Youtube. Similarly, there is a market need to transfer files to and from cell phones from a point to point perspective or even a mass distribution level. Unlimited data plans on mobile phones are more and more common and will be a standard plan requirement for both pre-paid and post-paid users within the next few years.

GOS provides you an innovative way to transfer files from cell phone to cell phone and to back up your mobile phone data. GOS can be considered an application that brings File Transfer protocol to mobile, and GOS brings data storage to mobile in the same way that Hotmail and YouTube brought email and video storage to the web instead of hard drives.

Active or Passive Backup

In the settings for GOS, you can choose to backup data actively or on a scheduler. Alternatively, you can simply set the transfer to occur passively when your phone is charging or doing nothing. GOS is meant to be a seamless application that runs only when you want it running.

Mass Distribution

File transfer on the mobile phone is traditionally done by syncing the phone with your computer or emailing a file out. With GOS there are no limitations on file size and you can directly send one or many files directly to another phone that has GOS on it. Transfer files in the same way that you do on FTP or through your usual instant messaging service.

Mass Distribute

Transferring files from one mobile to another mobile is just one feature of GOS. To extend that feature further, GOS can mass distribute files as well to a set of mobile phones. More often than not, companies are supplying employees with cell phones. For companies that need to send their employees files, we can mass distribute a file to a large set of phones.
